Maggie and its dishes are widely accepted by all age groups.
Now a days wraps and rolls are highly popular among Kids and youngsters.
This Maggie Roll will not only loved by kids and youngsters but elders will also love it.
For kneading dough
Wheat flour 1 cup
Maida 1/2 cup
Salt 1/4 Tsp
Oil 1 Tsp
Maggie cake 1
Cabbage thinly chopped 1 cup
Green peas 1/4 cup
Green chilies 1-2
Salt As per taste
Tomato 1 small
Oil 1/2 Tsp
Onion chopped and processed cheese
Meyonnaise 2-3 Tbsp
Schezwan chutney 1 Tbsp
Red chili sauce 1/2 Tbsp
Salt A pinch
Butter For shallow frying
Mix all the sauce ingredient well into the bowl.
Take maida and wheat flour in a bowl. Add salt in it. Knead soft dough by adding lukewarm water. Apply oil on the dough, cover the bowl and keep aside for 1/2 hour.
Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped green chilies,chopped tomato and cabbage in it. Saute and add salt and turmeric, mix it and saute for a minute. Cover the pan , cook for 2 min. on medium flame. Uncover the pan and saute till its dry. Keep aside for cooling.
Boil 1 cup of water for maggie. Add taste maker, maggie cake and green peas in it. Allow it to cook. Noodles should be dry. Do stir in intervals. Take the maggie in a bowl for cooling. Mix maggie with cabbage , add coriander optionally.
Make the rolls
Take the dough. Knead again using oil, it should be soft. Make same size balls from it approx. 5-6 rolls. Take one ball , dust with maida and roll it like thin chapati. Roast on slightly heated tawa. Roast slightly , half cooked from one side. Likewise prepare all the rolls.
Stuff the rolls
Keep roasted side on top. Spread the sauce evenly on all over the roll. Place some Maggie stuffing in the middle of the roll. Drop some onion rings, flakes on it. Grate cheese on it. Roll out maggie roll carefully but tightly. Likewise prepare all the rolls.
Shallow fry the rolls on hot griddle or pan using butter. Make rolls crisp from all the sides.
Enjoy hot Maggie rolls with sauce or as itis.
