This is a hot pasta dish that is colorful and a great dish to pass at a dinner party. Penne is a good pasta to serve with fairly thick  creamy or tomato based sauces, as its shape holds the sauce well.

PREP. TIME                         20 Min.

COOKING TIME                  40 Min.

READY IN                             1 hour


Penne pasta                         1/2 kg.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook for 8-10 min. or until a dente, drain. Toss with olive oil.

Take 1/2 part for veggie pasta and 1/2 for white sauce.


For veggie pasta

Cooked penne pasta              250 Grams

Oil                                               2 Tbsp

Capsicum                                 1

Cabbage                                    1/2 cup

Cauliflower florets                1/2 cup

Tomato                                     1

Parmesan cheese

Tomato sauce                          2 Tbsp

Red chili sauce                       1 Tbsp



Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 min. or until a dente, drain,  Toss with olive oil.

In a skillet over medium heat oil, add cauliflower, chopped cabbage, chopped Tomato and Capsicum one by one. Saute for a minute


Add Tomato sauce , Red chili sauce, Salt, Pasta herbs and mix it well.

also add some grated Parmesan cheese

Immediately start to cook other pasta recipe.

Enjoy the Penne pasta tossed in white sauce in this delightful penne in white sauce. The penne pasta is cooked and then enrolled in a creamy freshly made white sauce and enjoyed as a main course meal.


Cooked pasta

Butter                                                                                1 Tbsp

Maida                                                                                 1 Tbsp

Milk                                                                                     2  1/2 cup

Dried oregano                                                                   1 Tsp

Salt                                                                                        Little

Freshly ground black pepper                                        To taste

Processed cheese                                                               2-3 Tbsp


Heat 2 cups of milk . Mix  maida in remaining 1/2 cup of milk well. Add this paste in to the hot milk , whisk it well. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes slight thick and creamy.


Add penne, salt, oregano, butter and grated cheese. Switch off the flame and give a quick mix.

Serve hot both the pasta
