SOAKING TIME 3-4 hours

Rice 1 cup
Urad dal 1/4 cup
Moong dal 1/4 cup
Oil For greasing
Green chilies 3-4
Salt To taste
Cheese 50 gms approx.
Baking powder 1 Tsp
Clean, wash and soak rice, urad dal and moong dal seperately for 3-4 hours. Drain and blend seperately rice and dal, add water as per need while grinding.
Mix rice and dal together in a large bowl, cover and keep aside for fermentation 6-7 hours. Before making the appe add chopped onion, green chilies, coriander,
salt and baking powder.Mix well, also cut small pieces of cheese and keep aside. Heat the appe mold, grease it lightly with oil. Pour 1/2 spoon of batter in
each mold, place few pieces of cheese on it. Again pour 1/2 spoon of batter, cover the cheese well with batter. Cover the Appe mould and cook for 2-3 min.
Turn the appe upside down with fork or stick, cover and cook the another side for 2-3 min. Repeat with the remaining batter and cheese to make more cheesy Appe.
