Today is my Big Bro Sanjay’s Birthday…So presenting this Lovely cake with Love and Respect to him. Hope that every one will love this.
Simple and easy recipe of egg less WHEAT CHOCOLATE CAKE, so one can have the cake and eat it too. The texture of the cake is soft and moist.
Whole wheat flour 1 cup
Cocoa powder 3 Tbsp Salt
a pinch Baking powder 1/2 Tsp
Butter 1/4 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract 1/2 Tsp
Water 1 cup
Grease a baking pan with butter or ghee and keep aside.
Preheat oven to 180 Degree Cel.
Sieve whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and cocoa powder and keep aside.
In a bowl take take sugar and water and stir so that the sugar dissolves.
Now add melted butter, stir briskly so that everything is mixed well.
Add lime juice and vanilla extract and mix it.
Add the sieved dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix everything well.
There should not be no lumps in the Cake batter.
The batter should not thick but thin. Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake the cake into the preheated oven for 30 to 35 mins on 180 Degree Cel.
Since temp varies from Oven to Oven do keep the check on Recommended Temperature.
In Microwave oven bake for 15 mins. On low gas Flame bake for half an hour. But keep check after 20 to 25 mins.
To check the Cake is ready or not insert the knife or toothpick into the cake, the Knife or toothpick should come out clean.
Once the Cake becomes warm or cools down unmold.
The basic cake for routine serve is ready.
This cake can be decorated as per your desire and wish.
The simple way to frosting is …..
Butter 2 Tbsp
Sugar 4 Tbsp
Milk 2/3 Tbsp
Cocoa Powder 4 Tbsp
Mix Sugar, butter and milk. Heat on low flame.
Once the sugar gets dissolve switch off the flame.
Add cocoa powder mix it with spatula so that cocoa powder get mixed evenly with the wet mixture.
If its too thick add little milk into it . See that it should not become too watery.
While still hot, spread the frosting on the cake as well as spread it on all sides with spatula.
Keep the cake covered with dome shape utensil and keep it into the fridge for frosting to set for an hour.
The egg less wheat chocolate cake is ready to served.
